Who is God for you?
Have you ever stopped to think about who is God? We often call for him although we don’t realize what he means for us. Jesus himself tells us in John 14, 6 "I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. " We know that Jesus is the Word who became flesh to suffer for us and save us. My brother, have you given the significance of Jesus for your life? Has he being the way which you have followed, or it has being easier to walk on the long road, but that leads you to the perdition? Have you ever searched to live the truth? Many people might ask: "How can I live the truth?" It's very simple! We have with us the Comforter, which is the Holy Spirit, He is the third person of God and teaches us to live the truth. And the sacred word tells us that if we are in Christ we are new creatures, this implies that we have been purified and means that we are now new creatures. God is the life himself, in Jesus' human form he donated himself for you and me to give us a new chance to live. And through the baptism God gives us this chance to have new life with Him. It is not necessary to see God to know who He is, we only need to follow his ways , do his will, live the truth in our lives and look at to the others and see the genuine presence of God trough them, so merciful, who gave us Jesus to become flesh and suffer a violent death. This way God allowed us to get the eternal life. We should not forget that Jesus is one that has the eternal life, as he himself says in Matthew 10.39 "He who finds his life will lose it, and he who loses his life for My sake will find it” I really wish that God has spoken to your heart through those words.
